I voted for Goseiger because I could totally see Saban do something epic with it. The suits and mecha are similarly close to MMPR so it could be kinda like a revamp of some kind. People probably voted for Shinkenger because it was the next Sentai that was going to be used for Power Rangers. Zyuranger is in there for of course the suits and mecha and such. Other could be any Sentai series you want, Dekaranger, Magiranger, etc.

I voted for Power Rangers, OBVIOUSLY. God, I don't know what I would do if Power Rangers wasn't in my life. XD Not many votes for Metal Heroes? I thought it was really popular? Other could mean whatever else I missed.
Metal Heroes is very popular in Japan and Brazil. But not very popular to the current non-Japanese fanbase (like the States). Since the only toku that has subs are Heisei Kamen Riders. As for Sentai, only the stuff from Dekaranger to Goseiger has subs. There's a few other toku with subs. None of the Metal Heroes have completed subs. But yeah, this is all that current fans will bother to watch. You'll definitely hear several fans talk about how they think B-Fighter is awesome, but most likely, they haven't even seen it (kind of like Zyuranger).
ReplyDeleteIt's funny, I like the Power Rangers, sure but being an older otaku I'm partial to the old Ultraman episodes the aired in Philadelphia in the late sixties, early seventies.
