Sooo, I'm writing this short film....

This idea just came out of nowhere, but I'm doing this short film with me and my friends. I don't have a title yet, still debating on the titles "Dawn of Destiny," and "Wave Goodbye" (Yes! They're both PR Episode Title names!).

Synopsis:
Two gay teenagers, Tom and Drew, who are in love (Got a problem with gay people? F**k off then.) were supposed to celebrate their four month anniversary. Instead, Tom kills himself because he is picked on constantly by class mates, and even family...also because he fears that his boyfriend, Drew, does not like him anymore and suspects him of cheating. One week after his death, Drew talks to his friends, Volkie and Madison, about Tom's death, talking about how much Tom meant to Drew. Drew wanted to spend the rest of his life with Tom, and he meant it.

Suddenly, one night while Drew was getting ready for bed, Tom's ghost appeared and talked to Drew about why he killed himself. Then Tom tells him that all of this is all a dream, but it will come true. He asks Drew to wake up. Drew wakes up and finds himself in the same place him and Tom were in before Tom's death, realizing that he was only day dreaming. Before Tom departed from his lover, Drew realized what Tom said was true, his death was going to happen and he needed to stop it. Drew tries to stop Tom, but fails. Drew then finds himself in the same position again, Drew experienced Deja Vu and succeeds in stopping Tom from his death. Explains how much he loves him and doesn't want him to hurt himself just because of what everyone else thinks. In the end, Tom doesn't kill himself and doesn't care what everyone else thinks.

That's pretty much it. Me and my friend are currently still writing the script and trying to get cast members, plus I need to get a camera off someone. The film will most likely be 10-15 minutes, hopefully on YouTube...if not, on here. There is going to be use of BGM from different Sentai series, mainly Go-Onger. And that's pretty much it. We'll start shooting by next week hopefully? If not, sometime soon.

Oh and by the way, if anyone has a problem with LGBT people, then by all means f**k you and don't watch the film. Thanks :)

April 5th, 2010...35th Anniversary of Super Sentai

SHORT POST:
I never really cared or knew but today, April 5th, 2010...is the 35th Anniversary of Super Sentai. 35 years ago today, Himitsu Sentai Goranger aired its first episode, and started a popular franchise known was Super Sentai that is still very popular today. Above is a picture of the originals....Himitsu Sentai Goranger. I like to call this picture, "Goranger Remastered," for certain reasons (NO! I did NOT make this photo! I found it!).

Hmm...I wonder what this reminds me off....I wonder how much hate this will get....

Kamen Rider Dragon Knight gets a Character Song Album?

As most of my friends know, I am a big fan of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight...and I'm really surprised to hear that it's getting a Character Song Album. No, it's not in English, sadly. It's all in Japanese. It's new music for the Japanese audiences.

To confirm this, we have these Japanese websites. If someone knows how to read Japanese, please try to translate it for us! But the descriptions seem to include mention of major recording artist GACKT (who famously provided his voice, and his on-screen presence for Kamen Rider Decade). Also, I recently found out that Dragon Knight will be getting a full DVD release of the series. I'm so jealous. Japanese fans get all the toys and the whole series on DVD! Whether they want them or not, they get them. D:

Here is or at least a small piece of one of the songs, part of this is the introduction to the series. Which happens to be narrated by Tomokazu Sugita, who played the voice of Kivat in Kamen Rider Kiva and also contributes a pretty amazing voice performance for JTC/Strike from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. The song is titled "Dive into the Mirror," by Defspiral. How epicly amazing does this sound!? :D

My first thoughts on Goseiger

Ugh... If you've been watching Tensou Sentai Goseiger and loving it so far, then I am so very happy for you. Because I just am not that impressed so far. There are many story and character reasons as to why the show isn't wowing me. But another reason is that a lot of the show's gimmicks just aren't of much interest. Particularly the overuse of the card system and the sometimes awkward-looking Header sequences for the mech scenes. Add to that the fact that the team's personal assistant character is a walking, talking version of the Dice-O arcade game and you've got yourself a triple-threat of fail in my book.

Don't get me wrong. I actually go for the series' that have cuteness and randomness...but this series isn't doing it for me. It's got a retro feel and I like it. I really liked it until Episode 6, which started to go down hill for me. Some might tell me that I'm overreacting, that it's only the beginning that the show may change. And they may be right. But as of right now, Goseiger doesn't seem to wow me as much as past seasons. I may just go back and watch Shinkenger, at least that was decent.

I've also come to that I may stop watching Sentai. I'm not totally sure yet, I won't stop for good. If I do stop, I'll probably just watch older ones or something. But right now, Sentai has really let me down. Makes me wish that there was a new season of Power Rangers (You can totally tell I prefer Power Rangers over Sentai more xP).

On a side note, I really love the new ending! :D
